Oak Gives Back: November Clothing & Essentials Drive

This November, Oak Performance & Wellness is collecting new clothing, cold-weather essentials, and gift cards to support Greenway Park Elementary students, families, and staff. We’re inviting our Oak community to help stock the school’s clothing closet and provide resources that school staff can use throughout the year.

Participating is simple: bring a donation to Oak or purchase items through our Amazon wish list. Whether you contribute a package of socks, a pair of sweatpants, or a gift card, each donation helps the school respond to a need.

What We’re Collecting

We’re requesting new, unused items, including:

• Sweatpants and leggings
• Socks and underwear
• Hats and gloves
• Coats, jackets, and other outerwear

Clothing donations will support the school’s clothing closet, helping staff provide students with essentials when they need a change of clothes or something warm to wear.

If you’re unsure about sizes or which items to purchase, check the Amazon wish list for specific options or speak with Alex before shopping.

Another Way to Help: Gift Cards

We’re also welcoming gift cards to Walmart, Target, Food Lion, and Harris Teeter.

Gift cards allow school administration to address needs that may fall outside the clothing drive. Depending on the school’s priorities, they may be used to assist a family, purchase supplies for a classroom celebration, provide teacher incentives, or meet another identified need.

School administration will determine how gift cards are used so that donations can support the people and needs they know best.

How to Participate

1. Purchase new items.

Choose clothing or cold-weather essentials from the donation list above. You can shop wherever is convenient for you.

2. Bring your donation to Oak.

Drop off clothing and gift cards at Oak Performance & Wellness during November when you come in for your training session. Please hand gift cards directly to Alex or an Oak coach.

3. Shop the Amazon wish list.

Prefer to shop online? Use the event page’s “Shop the Amazon Wish List” button to browse requested clothing items. Review the shipping details at checkout, or have your purchase delivered to you and bring it to Oak.

4. Help spread the word.

Share this event page with friends and family who would like to contribute. You don’t need to make a large donation to participate—one useful item is a welcome contribution.
